Song & A Story

In today's post, I'm going to share with you a favorite song of mine that can pretty much always bring a smile to my face. The song is called "Overwhelmed" by Tim McMorris. You can go check it out on youtube, or just click here. (If you happen to recognize the song, its probably because you've heard it in a Sam Adams commercial or two. Just another reason in my opinion to love it, the beer company with my name loves the song too!)

This song has a pretty special meaning to me. Most recently, this was the song that Nick and I had our first dance to at our wedding. However, the reason we had this as our first dance is the reason I love this song.

When Nick proposed to me, he made a video with pictures and videos of us from the entire time we had been together. Some of them cute, some of them funny, even a few embarrassing ones. This song helped to make the video as special as it is, and I can't imagine a better song for the video. It perfectly helped to tie in all of the cute & funny & embarrassing moments.
