Easy 15 Minute Berry Pie

Today seems like a great day to do my first ever recipe post! This is a very easy recipe I came across a few months ago, and I love the simplicity of it and how quick it is to make! As a matter of fact, I no longer even use a recipe and just throw what seems like the right amount of ingredients in a bowl. What you will need for the easy 15 minute berry pie in a 9X13 inch pan is:

1.5 dL fint mjöl (2/3 cup flour)
1.5 dL havre gryn (2/3 cup oats)
1.5 dL socker (2/3 cup sugar)
dash of bakpulver (dash of baking powder)
150g softened smör (11 tbsp butter)
1 bag frozen berries (any kind, of your choice!)

Preheat your oven to 200 degrees C, or 400 F. Soften the butter and mix with the top four ingredients. Spread on top of the berries, place in the oven for about 10 minutes until the crust turns brown, and your easy, less than 15 minute berry pie is complete!

Once the ingredients are assembled, pour the frozen berries into the bottom of your baking pan.

Soften the butter (don't completely melt it!) and mix with the flour, oats, sugar, and baking powder. Your mixture should be slightly crumbly.

It only takes about 5 minutes to get everything set for 15 minute berry pie! Sprinkle the crumbles on top of the berries evenly, and place in the oven until the crust starts to brown.

Let cool slightly, add some ice cream on top, and your easy 15 minute berry pie is finished & ready to serve!
My favorite part about this pie is how quick and easy it is to make. I usually start making this as I begin serving dinner, and it is finished & cooled as everyone is finishing up with their dinner. Besides the ease of making this, it is a very easy recipe to remember- equal parts of all the ingredients, so it is easy to make it for any size pan or dish! You can use any types of berries as well- so far, I have used strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and mixed berries, and each works perfectly well!
